“The first rule of Fight Club? There is no Fight Club!”

We recently played a gig at Mayric’s with Hale. To say that there were a lot of girls is an understatement. As one friend put it, after Hale played, it was like looking at a magic show, where there was this very small car, and two dozen clowns start getting out of the car. It was something like that, except the clowns were a bunch of girls! And the girls were all flocking Champ, the vocalist, a whole bunch of them were holding out phone cameras to get a picture.

So anyway, naturally, we were all amazed at all the brouhaha.

And, the bunch of obnoxious fools that we are, we started imitating this ruckus by holding out our cellphones (which don’t have camera phones) and imitating them. We thought (and still think) that it’s funny. Apparently, their roadie saw this and got insulted.

Sabi naman sa akin ni Kerwin, Hale was supposed to play after CPT and before us. Yun daw yung usapan.

Think about it, a better man would have said, "Hahaha, inggit lang kayo. Kasi kami SIKAT. Kayo hindi."

Kami, we’re just having a good time.

i thought and still think it’s funny too. hehe!

pero siguro our manner of showing how we found it funny spelled the difference.

anyway, let’s just all have fun..

this reminded me of the Light Peace Love album launch.. dun sa VIP entrance, mas pinapansin pa ata si Champ Lui-Pio kesa dun sa ibang magpe-perform.. hehe.. not that I don’t like him though.. pero di naman kelangan umabot sa samaan ng loob di po ba?

ah basta, were all hapi.. and that’s a wrap!

    dyarann!!!

    there is no fight club!

  12. JUGS i FULL Says:

    Okay, ganito:

Would you rather mag-aangas sila? Mga bata yun, pare!”

Personally, i would rather have them to just laugh it off. Because that’s what we did.

    :oP

  15. chuckie Says:

you guys should’ve seen the screaming fans rocking champ’s car.. very disturbing..

  16. Annette Says:

haha, ganyan talaga pag bata… grabe, hale who/what? antanda ko na kasi eh!

baka kaya sila nagreact sa “pogi” kasi di sila naniniwalang pogi sila. eheehee, there are a lot of pretty boys and girls out there who’re irritatingly “insecure” about their looks - maraming models and artistas na ganyan ha.

  17. JUGS Says:

    Yeah, i totally agree, annette.
