I was just surfing around other people’s blogs when i saw this website:

http://haleonline.com/psychtest/

It’s nice, actually. Way better than those stupid "Which Beatle are You" tests.

You’re an ENTP

You like to chase the novel and complex. You have faith in your ability to overcome any challenges you face…highly independent…value adaptability and innovation…you encourage and value change…

You need freedom for action…you resist hierarchy and structure…you push against all odds to further your projects with your entrepreneurial tendencies…you can argue and find the flaws in any position…

How’m I doing so far? You rarely accept things just as they are…you like to test new meanings and relationships..when you don’t get what you want, you use your cleverness and ingenuity to bring people around to your point of view…when you choose a career, you tend to set flexible goals that allow you to incorporate new information and accommodate to new circumstances…

"Keep your options open" is your middle name… you like to explore the "road not taken." Your flexibility can look like indecision to others who don’t have a clue about you..you take advantage of opportunities…you realize potential of many things because of your ability to see connections and relationships between SEEMINGLY unrelated things…you cannot be ordered around, but rather handle things best when they are *suggestions*….like posting more on the Storm Palace BBS you love excitement…

Competence is key to you.. you don’t take advice or respect someone you don’t see as competent…you want work to be enjoyable..you’re a relentless learner. Knowledge is important to you…you use your enthusiasm to get others involved in your learning…you learn through give-and-take discussions and by questioning and challenging others….you like challenging your teachers and colleagues…limitations are mere challenges to you…you take initiative, and once the ball is rolling, you like to turn it over to someone else…

You like to organize logically and strategically….your work space might not LOOK organized, but underneath it all is a system that works for you. You like to have an impact…you need a job that allows you to be innovative. you like to take risks and explore…an open calendar for the weekend is really appealing…you’re often "in on the latest things…"…you like travel, ’cause it allows you to open up new vistas and horizons (corny, huh?).

Falling in love happens when there’s a good "fit" with another person…you often know after the first meeting whether there’s any "real potential"… you may not like to commit until that right person comes along…therefore you probably won’t settle down early…you don’t like to lose at ANYthing you undertake…you’re a born enterpriser…

Things to be on guard for: you have a great fear of looking dumb or incomp- etent..you may tend to think you have the perfect solutions for problems, and may become competitive when others challenge you… you might start to think that you’re the only one who’s in on the truth of things, so you might not like to listen to the input of others…you may have the tendency to overextend yourself as you jump in on lots of ideas without considering how long it takes to work ‘em through… commit to too many projects? …you are a rebel.. you find it difficult to accept standard operating procedures.. and hate HAVING to follow exact rules or policies…learn to work within the system.

Pay It Forward

Sunday, August 14th, 2005

We recently shot another "episode" of our Islamuzik segment (every saturday 6pm at channel 5) at Living Asia’s office.

The episode talked about PIRACY. They interviewed Atty. Jing Gaddi, formerly from Tungaw and now with Dong Abay’s new band.

We found out that burning or ripping (converting your CD audio to MP3 format) your CDs is legal. And so is Downloading/File Sharing through the internet.

After the shoot, we realized that a LOT of our friends/fans/listeners/admirers/stalkers/etc… are still looking for a copy of our first album, Little Monsters Under Your Bed. They can’t find a copy ANYWHERE. They won’t buy pirated stuff. They know that it’s bad. They know that it’s stealing.

So we decided, "let’s give it away!!!"

We brought some burned (or is it burnt? hmmm) copies of the said album (plus a few bonus tracks … para "compilation" siya) to our last couple of gigs, and gave them away to our close friends and other listers/listeners. The result was overwhelming. Ang daming humingi! And we know that it wasn’t because it’s free. Naubos yung 10 copies na dala ni Kelvin!

I know a lot of people would disagree…

Don’t get us wrong, we’re not going RIVERMAYA on you and give away our album, and make a big media event out of it. We’ll give it away to those who we feel really likes our music. We’ll give it to people who will say, "Ah, finally i have a copy of this nice CD… I’ve been looking for one for two years! I didn’t want to burn my friend’s copy kasi…"

We’ll just bring around 10 copies per gig, and see what happens from there. Personally, i’m not a bit worried about this new gimmick of ours. Like i said, our listeners are intelligent people. They won’t go, "Ay, P200++ yung 2nd album nila… yung una nga, nakuha ko ng libre eh!"…

Baka nga mas madaming bumili ng NTS dahil dito, eh. People will go, "Hey, i really like the itchyworms’ music! I only knew the singles until i got a copy of their 1st album! Let’s check out their sophomore effort!"

We’ll see…

Basta, just go to our gigs if you want to get a copy. We just have a small request… That you share it also with others. Parang yung "Pay It Forward" na movie ni Haley Joel Osmond. Or parang network marketing. hehehe… Pero libre, tsaka walang over-priced membership fee!

C’mon, tell me what you think.

“The first rule of Fight Club? There is no Fight Club!”

Monday, August 1st, 2005

We recently played a gig at Mayric’s with Hale. To say that there were a lot of girls is an understatement. As one friend put it, after Hale played, it was like looking at a magic show, where there was this very small car, and two dozen clowns start getting out of the car. It was something like that, except the clowns were a bunch of girls! And the girls were all flocking Champ, the vocalist, a whole bunch of them were holding out phone cameras to get a picture.

So anyway, naturally, we were all amazed at all the brouhaha.

And, the bunch of obnoxious fools that we are, we started imitating this ruckus by holding out our cellphones (which don’t have camera phones) and imitating them. We thought (and still think) that it’s funny. Apparently, their roadie saw this and got insulted.

Sabi naman sa akin ni Kerwin, Hale was supposed to play after CPT and before us. Yun daw yung usapan.

Think about it, a better man would have said, "Hahaha, inggit lang kayo. Kasi kami SIKAT. Kayo hindi."

Kami, we’re just having a good time.
